Year Round Campaigns

Seniors for Seniors – Adoption Campaign
Many animal shelters and rescue groups have had great success with targeting retired seniors to adopt animals. With “Seniors for Seniors” the goal is to encourage older residents to open their home to a new pooch or kitty.

Celebrity Lookalikes – Adoption Campaign/Social Media
Celebrities are a huge part of internet culture, and nothing brings the “awww” factor quite like a shelter animal, so a Celebrity Lookalike Pets feature is sure to stir up plenty of attention.

Shelter Story Time – Community Outreach/Increase Foot Traffic
Inviting kids (of all ages!) to read to shelter animals is a great way to increase foot traffic and build community support.

Power Hour – Community Outreach
Shelter dogs are wonderful dogs–but anyone would get tired of being in a pen 24/7. Sometimes they just need a break to cut loose and be dogs! Foster homes can provide a great escape for shelter animals, but you also need to keep animals in the shelter to be seen, so they can be adopted. Conundrum? Not anymore. We present to you: The Power Hour.

Animal Themed Birthday Parties – Community Outreach/Fundraising
Birthday parties increase visitors to the shelter, offer an opportunity to teach kids about animal welfare, and even raises a little bit of money. Hosting parties also positions the shelter as a safe, fun space for community members rather than a depressing place to avoid.
